Our handmade custom slate memorial will make a wonderful tribute to a loved one or pet. We offer an engraved message and an optional free image which you can choose from the list provided in the pictures.
These plaques are hard-wearing and durable and are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Many of our customers use them in a memorial garden where they look beautiful amongst the flowers or under a tree. We have designed the memorial as one single piece and it's very simple to place in the ground as it has a spike on the end.
The memorial can be placed in your own garden, a natural burial ground or memorial garden (check with the burial park before purchasing to see if it is suitable to be placed there), and many other places. These are some of the ways our customers use these memorials:

- Product Sizing
The plaques currently come in 3 stock sizes, but please let us know if you want a custom size and we'll be able to quote you a separate price for this. We cut and engrave these in-house so custom sizes are not a problem. Our stock sizes are:
Small Plaque -- 15cm (width of plaque) x 11cm (height of plaque)
Medium Plaque -- 20cm (width of plaque) x 13cm (height of plaque)
Large Plaque -- 25cm (width of plaque) x 13cm (height of plaque)
The above sizes don't include the spike that goes in the ground, which is an extra 14.5cm long and is the same length on all 3 plaques.
- How To Order
Firstly, select your option for plaque size from the drop-down box provided. Then choose your preferred font from the list provided and type the font number into the relevant box. Then select your clipart image (if required) from the list provided and type the image number into the relevant box. If you don't want an image, please leave the image box blank. Note: if no font is chosen, we will use font number B. This can still be changed to a different font during the proof process if needed.
Provide your customisation details in the "Your Message Here" section. Don't worry about how the writing looks in the personalisation section, as we will centre all of the text for you so there's no need to enter it line by line. If you would prefer to provide your text line by line or have produced your own design, please email us with the details within 48 hours of purchase. The images show an example plaque, so you'll be able to see the way we generally lay out the text on the plaque. If you would like something different done with the layout, please let us know.
Once you have entered your custom message and any other instructions and placed the order, we will email you a proof of the memorial to review before we go ahead. You can have as many proof revisions as needed to ensure you're completely happy with the design before we start producing it.
- Memorial Care
Caring for your slate memorial is very simple. It just needs a wipe oper with a damp cloth every now and then to remove any bird droppings or other debris that has accumulated.

All our products have delivery costs clearly stated on the product page (click on 'Product Details' to view), so you know there are no hidden costs when purchasing a memorial from us. We also display our lead times here too. Please bear in mind the lead times are only our best estimates, and production and delivery times may be either longer or shorter than stated. If you have a deadline for receiving your memorial, please let us know before ordering and we will accommodate your needs if at all possible.
Shipping Info
We ship all large and/or heavy items via DPD Local, and other smaller/lighter items will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24 service. We only use tracked services to send our memorials so you have complete peace of mind when ordering from us.
Delivery Areas
We can deliver smaller/lighter items via Royal Mail to most of the UK, including most Highlands and Islands. If you are unsure if we deliver to your area, please email us. Larger/heavier items sent by DPD can be delivered to Mainland UK only at the standard delivery price. Other areas will incur an additional delivery charge. This will be shown on the relevant product page for the item.
